High-Performance VPS With Full Root Access
Your own cloud server on AMD EPYC processors and MaxIOPS storage, in 15 data centers across Europe, the US and Asia-Pacific. You get root. Everything you install is your call.
An unfurnished apartment for your apps
A VPS is a server with nothing on it but the operating system. You get the keys and the space. The furniture, the locks and the leaky tap are yours to deal with.
Built for developers and sysadmins who already have opinions about their Nginx config. If you’d rather not have those opinions, Managed VPS is the fully serviced version.

Questions about VPS and Managed VPS
What’s the difference between VPS and Managed VPS?
Both run on the same AMD EPYC hardware in the same data centers. VPS gives you an empty server with root access, and everything above the hardware is yours to run. With Managed VPS, our team sets up the server and keeps it secure, backed up, monitored and tuned. Think of an unfurnished apartment versus a fully serviced one.
I don’t know much about servers. Which one should I pick?
Managed VPS. An unmanaged server needs security updates, backups and someone watching it every day of the year. If reading that sentence made you tired, let us do it.
What do you take care of on Managed VPS?
Initial setup and hardening, including the firewall. Security updates for the operating system. Daily off-site backups, and we test that they restore. Monitoring with alerts, so a server down at 3 AM wakes us instead of you. Speed tuning for your web server, PHP, database and cache. Free migration from your old host. Support for problems with the server and the software stack.
What isn’t included in Managed VPS?
Debugging your own code or plugins, building custom features, fixing problems caused by configuration changes you made yourself, and licenses for third-party software. We keep the server healthy. The code you run on it stays with you or your developer.
Can I upgrade from VPS to Managed VPS without moving servers?
[CONFIRM] Yes. Contact our support team and we switch your plan to Managed VPS. Your server, IP address and data stay where they are.
Who handles server problems, and how fast?
On Managed VPS, our team handles problems with the server and the software stack. On VPS, we handle infrastructure problems: hardware, network and the data center. We respond within [SLA: response time] during [SUPPORT HOURS].
